Train, enjoy, rejoice

After weeks of training ( 1-2 times per week), the judo sense is getting back to me slowly..am amazed at the difference in training style. Western as compared to asian style. Both have their virtues and reasons for difference. It depends on what you are looking for:
  1. good conditioning?
  2. reflex?
  3. keep interest going?
  4. leisure?
  5. fit?
  6. etc
it was fun and my interest was boosted up.. it wasn't rekindled as it was always there but an extra boost was injected to make me look forward to each and every session..
There is something new, to learn or to recall. New challenges.. new goalpost to reach at each training or to achieve.

Nearly threw a young brown belter ippon. Thou my throw still has its flaws as it always had, the feeling was terrific. Almost like what I felt with my very first ippon as a white belter..

enjoying a sports or activity that you like is great, to be in-touch with something that ties you back to your roots, mak you feel slightly at home even when you are miles away from home..
